Exploring biomaterials, designing and fabricating scaffolds, learning how cells and biomaterials interact; all these are fascinating and interesting areas that we would like students and researchers to explore and enjoy. To enable this, we need lab equipments and consumables to support our educational and research endeavours. | Sonicator probe | A sonicator probe for applications such as cell disruption, nanoparticle dispersion, DNA shearing/ChIP and homogenization. |
| Sound abating enclosure | For housing the sonicator probe. While operating the sonicator probe for health and safety purpose, the sound abating enclosure must be used. |
| Portable fume hood | Experiments using chemicals (hazard identification: highly toxic, carcinogenic,corrosive, dangerous, irritant etc) must be conducted under the fume hood. This is very essential to reduce health and safety risk for both the person conducting the experiment and for people working in the near vicinity. |
